Chinatown | San Francisco, CA

We spent a few amazing days in San Francisco and Berkeley, and we were even lucky enough to stay with two of our friends! The city completely blew us away and landed on our list of favorite US cities, so get ready for a few posts on this place.

The first post up: Chinatown.

San Francisco's Chinatown is well-known to be the biggest Chinese community outside of Asia, and is also the oldest Chinatown in North America. This district is unbelievably inspiring to walk through, with a bustling atmosphere, unique architecture, and bright colors everywhere. I could have explored the neighborhood for hours, and especially loved the abundance of tea shops (we settled into the tea bar at Vital Tea Leaf, where we sat for about an hour, tasting teas and learning about the health benefits - for free!).
