Mount Rainier, WA | Part 2

We ended up staying only one night at Mt. Rainier - I think we were ready to make our way to Seattle after being in the wilderness of Montana and Washington for so many days.

After our hikes, we spent some time driving around the Park, taking in the gorgeous views. We were looking forward to seeing Reflection Lake, but it was covered in snow. Reflection fail!

We made our way out of the Park and into Elbe, WA, a small town that was surprisingly bustling - there was an obvious bikers' hangout spot, a burger shack, a coffee hut, roadside produce, the pick up spot for the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad, and even the Hobo Inn. This little area seemed to be the gathering spot for those wanting lodging or food outside of the National Park.
